Robert E. REANDEAU, Sr. Age 61 passed away on January 8, 2010 at approximately
2:30 PM. He was one of two pilots who were fatally injured in an airplane
accident north of the Sequim Valley Airport. Bob was an avid aviator and lived
life to the fullest. In addition to aviation, he was also an avid motorcyclist,
car enthusiast, snow and water skier. He touched many lives with his enthusiasm
for work and play. His love and passion for life was shared with people of all
ages. He spent his life in the Port Angeles and Sequim area. Born at the old
Port Angeles hospital he was already thinking of his next adventure. He was always busy
and never ever bored with life. He was smart, self taught, energetic, and respected. He
had a love for people and that love was returned to him. Our lives will never be
the same but fuller than most because he has touched our lives. His many life
occupations include: truck driver, commercial pilot, mentor, and any job needing
done with a start time of 5:00 am.
He was preceded in death by his father Ray F. Reandeau, mother Lionne G. Sands and brother Tommy R. Reandeau. Bob is survived
by his wife, Teresa, his son Robert (Jr), Chantelle (wife), Tommy (grandson) and
Julia (granddaughter), Judy Stipe (sister), Patti Reandeau Currie (sister), Jack
and Dolores Stewart (uncle/aunt), Paul Reandeau (uncle), Scott Stipe (nephew),
Staci Brocato (niece), Stephanie Benedict (niece) and many extended family in
the area. Many who were family to Bob, include Kim, Vern, Sara, Brook, Tara and
Jeff.
Aviation enthusiasts who were helped, encouraged, and mentored in their
career in flying include: Eric, Fred, Daniel, Brian, Sterling, Chad, Ben and
many others.
A Celebration of life was held on Saturday January 16, 2010,
1:00pm at "Bob's Shop" located at 259537 Hwy 101, Sequim, WA. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be brought to the Celebration of Life - or mailed to P O
Box 267 Carlsborg, WA 98324, for the "Young Eagles" flying organization.
